WMDC-Windows Mobile Device Center installation failure in Windows 7
Step 1: Download and install Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 if you run Windows Vista or Windows 7 on your computer and you want to sync content between your mobile phone and your computer. Windows Mobile Device Center is only compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7; if you run Windows XP or earlier, you have to download Microsoft ActiveSync.
Step2: Even If that doesn’t work unplug it and plug your device again. Make sure that the cable you’re using is correct.
Step 3: Unplug your device open Device Manager (My Computer properties and click device manager) Now Plug your Device manager Uninstall all the instances which appear in the Device Manager and fresh install the driver again.
Step4: If it still doesn’t work. Go to connection properties (Start -> Settings -> Connection Settings -> USB to PC) in your device. Uncheck 'Enable Advance Network Functionality'.
Step 5: Reboot your System and your Device and plug your device. Windows will automatically install your Device Driver.
Step 6: If your device is connected but still your unable share data between your Device and your PC. Then Click on Start -> Sync Check Synchronize all the PC's using this connection.
Step7: Repeat Step 5.
